Mr Paul Rundle - Consultant Ophthalmologist
Professor Ian Rennie - founder of Sheffield's Ocular Oncology Service and founding member of the International Society of Ocular Oncology
Mr Sachin Salvi - Consultant
Mr Paul Rundle
Paul trained in Belfast and Philadelphia, joining the team as Consultant Ophthalmologist in 1999. He has a special interest in photodynamic therapy and has developed its use in the management of eye tumours. He has lectured widely and has published research papers and textbook chapters.
Professor Ian Rennie
Professor Rennie founded the service in 1985. He established the use of stereotactic radiosurgery for eye melanomas in the UK and founded an internationally-renowned research department. He has published over 190 research papers and book chapters as well as lecturing nationally and internationally.
Mr Sachin Salvi
Sachin trained in Sheffield, London and Cleveland, USA. He offers diagnostic and prognostic biopsies, all the current treatment options for ocular malignant melanoma and manages all types of adult eye cancers. He played a key role in developing the NICE accredited uveal melanoma national guidelines and takes a keen interest in research and training the next generation of Ophthalmologists. Sachin is director of the Fellowship Training Programme in Ocular Oncology, Oculoplastics and Orbital Surgery.

Dr Katharine Sears
Katharine has worked in Ophthalmology since 2002, and whilst working in the Sheffield Eye Department as a training Ophthalmologist she developed an interest in the field of ocular oncology. She became a permanent member of the ocular oncology team in 2006.
Rhona Jacques
Rhona has worked as an Ophthalmic Nurse in the NHS since 1983 and established the post of Macmillan Nurse to provide specialist support for eye cancer patients in 1995. She was the first Specialist Nurse Representative on the National Ocular Oncology Group and has lectured internationally on supportive care.
Lesley Hinchliffe
Lesley has been working in ocular oncology since 1985 and became Support Sister in 1999. She is an expert in ocular ultrasonography, having lectured in this field as well as providing training for other staff members.

Dr Hardeep Mudhar
Hardeep trained in London, Cambridge, Liverpool and Sheffield. He took up his Consultant Eye Pathology post in Sheffield in 2004 and has developed the Sheffield Eye Pathology Service to an international standard. He has a keen interest in research and training and has developed a UK forum for Eye Pathologists: www.eyepathuk.co.uk

Catherine is Senior Clerical Officer with responsibility for booking appointments, transport and overnight accommodation if required.

Dr Sarah Danson
Sarah is based at Sheffield's Weston Park Hospital and is an Honorary Consultant in Medical Oncology at Sheffield Teaching Hospital NHS Trust. Sarah's interests are in melanoma, lung cancer and the early clinical assessment of new anticancer agents. Sarah is Co-Lead for the Sheffield Experimental Cancer Medicine Centre.

Karen Sisley
Since obtaining a PhD from the University of Sheffield, Karen has worked closely with Professor Ian Rennie to establish Rare Tumour Research Group (RTRG) - an active research group investigating uveal melanoma and genetics. Karen is a regular reviewer for both Cancer and Ophthalmology journals, and reviewer for national and international grants.
